Amy Montana of Friona High School, Kelly Lee of Holy Cross Christian Academy, and Ahmed Al Nuamij of Tascosa High School are the recipients of the 2023 West Texas Speech Association Memorial Scholarships.
Our 2024 Summer Camp Scholarship winners are Libby Wagner of Canyon High School, and Hudson Turman of Tascosa High School.
We are putting the annual West Texas Speech & Debate Co-op on hold for the summer of 2024. No Co-Op will be hosted in 2024.

This association was founded to provide organization and camaraderie to teachers who coach speaking and acting events in the West Texas / Panhandle area. Meetings are held once a year on the Saturday prior to Labor Day weekend for instructional sessions and to set the competition calendar for the year.
